David Ashby is from Brighton, right on the south coast of England. He moved to Göteborg in 2002 and then to Stockholm in 2004.
For the past twelve years he has been working as a Business English trainer for a variety of language companies in Sweden, and has built up a reputation as a friendly, flexible and dedicated professional English teacher.
Back in the UK David had a varied business background, where as well as working as a trainer he also worked for large organisations such as Renault, British Telecom, the Inland Revenue and the Ministry of Defence, in roles such as Marketing Manager, Account Manager and Executive Officer.
David has certificates in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and in Business Education and IT from Sussex University and the University of Brighton as well as diplomas in Business Studies.
David is married to the Swedish author and Speech and Language Therapist, Elvira Berg Ashby and they have two children, Sam and Tilly. He speaks Swedish but loves English.
